Snap Dragon Flirt

One product that has been around for a while but that I don't think is as well known as it should be is Snap Dragon's whitewater spray deck, the flirt. A skirt made for women but whose features can be appreciated by both sexes.

Don't you hate when you have to fold over the tube of your skirt because the tube is too long? Well the flirts tube is cut shorter than most so you no longer have to fold over your tube. As a woman I loved this feature! I am a wee bit busty and could never stand having my skirts tube go over my cleavage but I hated having to fold it over and make me feel all huge and bulky. Now, I don't have to do either to feel comfortable on the river or in the pool. And to all the guys out there, don't just think that this feature is only for the girls! Just like most girls aren't tall and a size double zero not all guys are tall or have long mid sections - the body type most tubes are designed for - and this skirt is perfect for you if that's the case!

The material on the tube is also different than that of the skirt and stretches better. This feature originally meant so that women could get the skirt over their "curves" or hips is just an awesome feature in general! Almost everyone who has ever whitewater kayaked with a spray skirt can relate when I talk about how hard it is to get those buggers on sometimes! Especially when you have all your other gear on underneath, sometimes just putting on the skirt is such a workout in itself that you need to take that moment to breathe before hitting the water. Well with the more giving material that the flirt has on the tube it is much easier to put on than other skirts, still not a breeze, but the thing does have to be snug right? The material is also slightly thinner, so when you're wearing the skirt it doesn't feel like you just gained 20 lbs. on your mid section. Even with the changes to the tube functionality has not been compromised. At numerous pool sessions I have used my flirt and noticed no difference between it and the other spray skirts, except that I'm more comfortable.

For more advanced whitewater paddlers the Flirt also comes in a whitewater reinforced version with 4 mm expedition neoprene with rim guard reinforcement and a sewn-in shock cord on the deck
