Kayak Touring Safety Course

This two hour pool-based skills course covers self rescue and assisted rescue techniques for sea kayakers, including deep water boat re-entries using slings and paddle floats, the use of tow systems and T-rescues.  We practise bracing techniques and discuss how the various features of sea kayaks affect ease of rescue.
