River Safety and Leadership

This AWA certified two-day scenario-based course is designed with the goal of developing the skills and fostering the mind-set that makes paddling safe and enjoyable.

Participants learn and practice safety and rescue techniques and work on developing leadership skills and thinking.

We use equipment that is easily carried by paddlers, and focus on the importance of personal and group safety at all times.
