You know the Kananaskis like the back of your hand, and you've run a few of the classic Class II/III runs in the area, But now your ready to take your paddling to the next level.

If this sounds like your thought process, maybe an introduction to creeking course is for you.  During this 2.5 day weekend program we will de-mystify the creeking world.

Hazard identification, river leadership, scouting, boofing, river safety and river reading are all skills paramount to entering the wonderful world of creek boating.  Friday evening is spent on the Kananaskis River getting used to paddling creek boats and working on technical paddling skills.  Saturday it’s out to the Highwood for a more challenging run to get the creeking muscles in shape with a strong emphasis on safety, scouting, river reading and leadership.  On the final day you get to put your skills to the test on either Cataract or Etherington creek, where paddlers get to run their first waterfalls while still maintaining a strong focus on technical skills and safe boating.
