The Quetico is great for the novice paddler, or solo paddler.

The modern design of this canoe makes it totally unnecessary to have a keel.

This canoe has very little rocker, quite a flat bottom and very little upsweep at the bow and stern.

These features make the Quetico a stable canoe that is able to track very well.

A Duralite hull is cost effective compared with a Kevlar® hull. A Duralite construction includes a mixture of special synthetic composite cloth combined with Hellman's tough flexible epoxy resin. The bow and stern are reinforced with Flexite® cloth.
